Safe House Project
The Safe Home and Refuge Co-ordinator role began in September 2024. Key developments included creating a Memorandum of Understanding, engaging with Approved Housing Bodies and learning from existing refuges to shape policies and timelines. Multi-disciplinary meetings with stakeholders such as Roscommon County Council and the CUAN Agency helped drive the project forward and ensure shared accountability in developing safe homes and a refuge in County Roscommon.
